Rhode Island Governor-elect Lincoln Chafee (CHAY’-fee) is repeating a pledge to repeal a controversial executive order on illegal immigration, but says he’s discussing with State Police whether they will still ask for people’s immigration papers when there’s reasonable suspicion they’re here illegally.
