Immigration officials arrest 163 in N.Va.

Federal immigration officials arrested 163 foreign nationals in Northern Virginia, including 130 with criminal records, authorities announced Wednesday. The sweep was conducted Sunday through Tuesday and resulted in the arrests of 134 men and 29 women from 32 countries, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Immigration officials arrest criminals, fugitives in Va., D.C.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents yesterday announced the arrests of 75 foreign nationals with criminal records and 12 fugitives throughout Virginia and in Washington. More than two dozen of those arrested were apprehended in southern and central Virginia.
